Use the following link to go to a web page containing a map of the route of the Thirsk 10:
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1481792
The map was provided by Dave Robson on 3rd December 2007. Here is a comment provided by Dave:
The course was very flat, apart from one slight rise and a couple of railway bridges./
The page uses a web application provided by Gmaps Pedometer. Important note: even if this map is a close approximation to the route in a previous year, the race organisers may change the route in subsequent years.
Although this map will give you an idea of the route taken by the race in a previous year, it does not give you an accurate measurement of the length of the race. This is because the gpmap will have errors as the map has either been hand-drawn or provided by a GPS device.
If you think there is something wrong with this map, please let me know. Preferably do this by providing a replacement page at Gmaps Pedometer and giving me the URL of that page (and, if you wish, your one line comment about the course).
Also, if you are able to provide a page at Gmaps Pedometer for some other race, please email me with the URL of that page (and, if you wish, your one line comment about the course).
Thanks.
